Top 12 Pictures from Spain 2010

Entrada Final

Before you write your last blog entry, go back to the first blog entry you wrote (the one you wrote before coming to Spain).  Read your entry.  Think about your experiences here in Oviedo and then write a reflection entry about your time in Spain.  This entry should show your ability to write in Spanish (in other words it should be your best work so far).  It should be between 200-300 words and is due by midnight on Thursday (24th of June).

Peer Review

You need to review, edit and comment on a free weekend entry.  You should look at the list to the right and review the person just below you on the list (for example Michelle Dean will review Michelle Taylor's etc.).

You should give your feedback in WebCT.  Open a new email message and address it to your peer and all the instructors.  To get full credit you need to make sure that the instructors also receive the message you are sending to your peer.  Due by Tuesday at midnight (22nd).

You need to do the following:

Look for spelling mistakes
Look for grammar mistakes (verbs, tenses, adjectives, prepositions, etc.)
Make suggestions for how to fix mistakes.
Make suggestions for ways to improve the final entry (at least two)

Final Photo - El Concurso de Fotos

The last photo entry is for the photo contest (concurso de fotos). Choose your favorite picture.  Each class will vote on their pictures and choose two from their class.  Then the entire group will vote on the top ten pictures.  The favorite photos will receive a prize at the end of the program.

Monday by 4:00 pm - Post you best picture.
Tuesday by 4:00 pm - Vote on your classmates´ pictures.  Vote for two pictures.  You vote by posting a comment under your favorite two pictures.  Rank them as número uno & número dos.
Thursday by 4:00 pm - Vote for your three favorite pictures out of the top ten pictures.  They will be posted here (uoviedo2010.blogspot.com) and you will vote anonymously for your favorite pictures at monkey survey (and link).

Entrada del fin de semana libre

This week you need to write an entry about your free weekend.  It needs to be at least 200 words.  Post your entry by Thursday night.

You need to post your weekly picture with a short description (three sentences or more).  Post your picture by Friday night.

Comment on two weekend postings.  One comment should be for someone who went to the same place as you and the other should be for someone who went to a different place.  Post comments by Friday night.

¡Semana tres! – Mi lugar favorito de Oviedo

Hace tres semanas que estás en Oviedo. (¡Cómo pasa el tiempo!) Ahora conoces algunos sitios de la ciudad. Esta semana tienes que escribir una entrada sobre tu rincón, sitio o lugar favorito de Oviedo. You only need to post one thing this week. You need to post a photo entry and description of your favorite spot, place, corner, street, etc. in Oviedo. Your description should be between 75-100 words.

Post your entry before you leave for the free weekend (unless you like doing homework while traveling.) Post your entry no later than Sunday night.

Comment on at least one of your classmates’ entries.

Segunda Semana

This week you need to write an entry (around 200 words) about one of the three following subjects:

1. La comida
2. Hacer compras (ir de compras)
3. Costumbres espanoles

You will also need to post a new picture with a description.

You need to comment on two pictures and one blog entry.

The due dates will be:

Blog entry - no later than Thursday
Comments and Pictures - no later than Friday
